Pierre Bérubé

  • A graduate of the École Polytechnique de Montréal (class of 1979), Pierre Bérubé was president of the Association professionnelle des géologues et géophysiciens du Québec (now known as the Ordre des Géologues du Québec) from 1993 to 1995 and was also president of the Quebec Mineral Exploration Association (QMEA) from 2002 to 2004 and again from 2010 to 2014. He previously served as both vice-president and president of MISA and is currently vice-president of CONSOREM. Until 2021, Mr. Bérubé was president of Abitibi Geophysics, a consulting engineering firm specializing in mining and recognized worldwide for its expertise. Abitibi Geophysics works with universities in Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario and Australia on technological development projects and is the owner of several patents and exclusive subsurface exploration methods. Mr. Bérubé’s current role is Project Lead, R&D.
