  • Darryel Boucher holds a doctorate in mineral processing from McGill University. He began his career in 2010 as a project engineer working on the construction of the Phase 2 concentrator plant at the Bloom Lake iron mine in Fermont. After designing many mineral transportation, transfer, comminution and processing circuits for Jenike & Johanson and Orway Mineral Consultants in Toronto, he joined the mineral processing R&D group at the University of Toronto as the leader of the CanMicro project, which won the top prize in Natural Resources Canada’s Crush It! Challenge. Darryel now works at Sayona, becoming a part of their technical team last winter to develop the company’s Moblan lithium project in the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James region.
